How To Make Simple Syrup For Your Cocktails
Posted by Administrator on 8/13/2010 to Cocktail Info & Recipes
A Simple Syrup is often an essential ingredient for those specialty cocktails that we all love.

Simple Syrup can also be called sugar syrup, gomme syrup or rock candy syrup.  You'll find that many of your favorite margaritas and fruity martini recipes call for this key ingredient.

You can buy Simple Syrup in the store but it is much more economical and faster to make it yourself.  So add a bit of panache to your next cocktail with a bit of Simple Syrup.

Simple Syrup Recipe

Heat 2 parts water and 1 part superfine sugar in a saucepan for approximately 5 minutes. Allow to cool before adding to your cocktail.
